About Us - Getting Together
|
Our Business Meeting takes place at our club house on the grounds of the Lutheran Church Of Our Saviour, 8401 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa FL 33615 We meet at 10:00 AM on the first Monday of every month. After the meeting, we get together for lunch at a local eatery. Come to the meeting and enjoy the comradery of fellow model railroad enthusiasts! We meet at our club house every Monday starting at 9:00 AM to run trains, talk trains, and watch train videos. Of course there's alway a lunch break at a local restaurant, where everyone gets together to socialize. Our members travel from as far north as New Port Richey, Florida and as far south as Bradenton, Florida. Every Friday morning — Len's layout in south Tampa has become the hub meeting place for the Tampa Bay Model Railroad Club. He opens the door to his layout to members and guests. At lunch, everyone takes a break and makes their way to a local restaurant to enjoy good food and to engage in good conversation.
